Graphic Designer job description

Big Blue is looking to recruit a mid-level Graphic Designer (4+ years experience) that knows how to convert data into compelling visual content.

You will help us design brand identities, design infographics/data visualisations, produce social media content, and event materials.

Designers who have previous work with a marketing/advertising agency are strongly encouraged to apply.


  • Turn complex research and data into clear, compelling stories
  • Work with Big Blue content producers to create publication layouts, presentation/slide deck content, social media visual content, event display materials, and data visualisations/infographics
  • Work with Big Blue content producers to produce graphic design materials for Big Blue communication/marketing activities, including website visual content, social media content, and presentation/slide deck content
  • Good English writing skills are essential
  • Be available for phone/face-to-face/Skype/Slack contact as needed during office hours
  • Must be fully proficient with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop


  • Monday-Friday working week. 8.5 hours a day, with 1 hour for lunch
  • 2-month probation period, followed by 4-12-month fixed term contract
  • If contacted by Big Blue for interviews, candidates will be asked to submit a 500-word writing sample, CV, and portfolio
  • Salary is commensurate with experience
  • Fixed-term contract, with provision for performance bonus
  • Performance is reviewed on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Report to Managing Director
  • Candidates must have right to work in Bangladesh
